Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Landmark Cudahy Spray Foam Insulation website and any insulation work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for a quote or scheduling work with us, you agree to them.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work through it. If any part is unclear, call us at (213) 338-1994 before you schedule, and we'll explain it.

What we do

Landmark Cudahy Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation contractor in Cudahy, CA. We work on attics, walls, crawl spaces, the room over the garage and other parts of homes and commercial buildings, including spray foam, blown-in insulation, air sealing, insulation removal and vapor barriers. You can see the full list of services from our home page and read more about our crew on our About page.

The descriptions on this site are general. What we'll actually do on your job is what's written in your estimate or contract, because every attic and crawl space is different once we get up there.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, and asking for one doesn't obligate you to anything. A quote is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, such as how many inches of insulation are already up there, the age of the house and how open the attic or crawl space is.

Some things only show up once the work starts, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, gaps hidden under existing material, or damaged framing. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, show you and get your approval before doing the added work.

Quotes are good for the period written on them. After that, we may need to update the price if material costs or the condition of the space have changed.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you and give you an idea of how long the crew will be at your house. Weather, material delivery and conditions we find on the job can move that date, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to clear stored items from the attic, garage or crawl space entry as we ask. If we arrive and can't get in or can't work safely, we may need to reschedule.

Some products, spray foam in particular, have a re-entry time, which is how long people and pets should stay out before coming back inside. You agree to follow the time our crew gives you, which comes from the product maker's instructions.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call us as early as you can. If you've signed a contract, its cancellation terms apply, along with any cancellation rights California law gives you.

Payment

Payment is due as stated in your written estimate, contract or invoice. If a deposit is part of the job, it will be written into your contract and kept within what California law allows.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until the account is current. You're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting unpaid amounts, to the extent California law permits.

Our guarantee and warranty limits

We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the finished job isn't right, tell us and we'll come back to look at it and work with you on a fix.

Insulation materials carry the warranties their makers provide, and we pass those along to you as the maker offers them. Beyond our satisfaction guarantee, any warranty written into your contract and the makers' warranties, we don't make other promises about the work, including promises about how much your power bill will change.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage caused by later leaks, pests, other contractors' work, changes you make to the space, or failing to follow the re-entry time or care instructions we give you.

Limits on our liability

To the extent California law allows, Landmark Cudahy Spray Foam Insulation isn't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of a room, lost income or higher utility costs. Our total responsibility for any claim about a job won't be more than what you paid us for that job.

We aren't responsible for conditions that existed before we started and that we didn't cause, such as hidden water damage, old wiring or framing problems. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that California law doesn't allow a business to limit.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and isn't advice for your particular house. We try to keep it accurate, but we can't promise it's complete or always current.

Please don't misuse the site, try to break into it, or copy its content for commercial use without our permission. The text, photos and logo belong to Landmark Cudahy Spray Foam Insulation.

If we disagree

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first at (213) 338-1994 or reach us through our Contact page. Most issues get settled with a conversation and a return visit, and we'll make a real effort to get there.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may bring the dispute to a court in Los Angeles County, California, including small claims court where the amount qualifies.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California. If a court finds any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes won't alter a contract you've already signed for a job unless we both agree in writing.

If you have questions about these terms, send them through our Contact page and expect a reply within 1 business day.
